Going up?

On Saturday, we attended the wedding and reception for one of Todd's oldest friends, Brian, and his wife, Tamara.
Everything was beautiful, and the reception was at this amazing church house in the Harvard-Yale neighborhood in Salt Lake. Luke probably had the best time of all, running around like a maniac, going up and down stairs and meeting new people. However, we did have a little scare.
I was sitting at the table watching him cruise around when I saw him run into the hallway. I got up and went after him but when I got to the foyer, I could not find him anywhere. He wasn't in the chapel. He wasn't in any of the halls. I started to freak out a little and called for Todd to help me find him. Guess where we found him? The elevator. The little stinker (who loves himself an elevator ride) had pressed the button and gotten on the elevator. Todd found him trying to reach the buttons to go up. Seriously. I wish I had a picture, but I was too mad at the time to take one. He was SO pleased with himself that he had gotten on alone. Hence the title, going up!

Hilarious! And how scary, too! I can't believe it!

that is funny--but scary also. I lost Lucy in Target once. I was trying some things on and she escaped under the door (you know the opening which shouldn't be there) well she just took off!! I didn't have any clothes on so I couldn't just run and go get her. By time I got done she was gone. I was kinda mad that the dressing room lady didn't grab her she was just sitting right there. Like I would LET my child run away from me. Well I found her by all the sippy cups not to far away.

I think that is where we had our reception. Did it have a big park type thing in the yard area with a pond and stuff? JJ's parents live in that neighborhood. I had my bridals there as well. It is very pretty.
