One of the first outings we took in Calgary was to the Creative Kids Museum at the Telus Science Centre. (Seeing Centre not Center makes me happy). I'd actually never been before but we wanted to ride the C-train and figured it would be more fun if the trip actually ended in a destination. The museum was really cool and interactive, similar to Discovery Gateway for the Utahns reading this. My favorite thing was room with gigantic buttons on the floor that all played different sounds. Think the keyboard in "Big" with a twist. Luke loved the water area, and Todd spent quite a bit of time in a dark room that captured your shadow on the wall. (Check out the picture at the top of the post).
Riding the C-train reminded me how multi-cultural Calgary is. Well, actually, most of Canada is quite diverse ... especially compared in Utah! It was nice to have a change.
Todd thought this sign was hilarious.
