This is one big bragging post about ...
My beautiful sister Collette, who graduated from Arizona State University last Thursday. We are so proud of you and wished we could've been there to cheer you on!!
She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre Performance with a freaking 3.97 GPA. (Yes, you read that right. 3.97. Unbelieveable).
She is a very talented lady who has worked her tail off during school, working at the Health Center, rehearsing four hours a day and riding her bike to school to save cash. She had a full scholarship all four years, which waived her out-of-state tuition (equal to about $16,000 a year). When tuition increased and the scholarship amount didn't, Collette wrote a letter to the President of ASU about the situation and scored $6,000 more in scholarship money. Quite persuasive.
Collette is a soprano who has starred in many musical productions — she got her first lead as a freshman and has had many lead roles since. Favorite roles include The Narrator in Joseph, Amalia in She Loves Me, Laurie in Oklahoma, Silly Girl No.3 in Beauty and the Beast ("It was so fun; all I had to do was act like an idiot for two hours," she says). You can hear her online at:

Currently, Collette is working on a demo CD of songs that she has written on piano. She is planning to move to either New York or Los Angeles to pursue her musical dreams.
She is dating the devastatingly handsome and debonair Gerald Munns (G-$), the starting middle linebacker for ASU's football team and "overall Prince Charming," Collette says. Collette has never been to an ASU football game in her life.
