Num num

I've had this random memory floating through my head all day so I thought I would "blog it out" (ha ha, funny commercial memory).

This picture (and the funny memory) are of the first time we fed Luke solid food. He was SO ready to eat real food. I remember before we gave it to him that Todd would always say he thought Luke was eyeing his food at dinner. Turns out, he was. As soon as I busted out the spoon with food on it he grabbed it and shoved it into his mouth. It was hilarious. He couldn't get enough food fast enough. It was really cute and I have a big smile just thinking about it. I feel bad that we waited so long. He was desperate for solids!

He is still pretty funny when he eats. He has this relatively new thing where he goes "num num" every time he sees something he thinks would be yummy to eat. "Num num" in Luke language means, "That looks delicious, Mom, and I want to eat it right now."
Whenever I take him to the grocery store, he is num-numing the whole time, over everything that he sees: strawberries, sushi, cheese curds, yogurt. The poor guy can't even handle it. He wants all the food now!

I've got to hand it to the kid; the sound is so cute that we usually end up giving him whatever he wants. Smart boy.
